Mallapur; Times India; On the occasion of Ganesh Festival the All India Youth Federation [AIYF] and All India Students Federation [AISF] has arranged clay Ganesh idols with natural colors and distributed free of cost at Mallapur.
While Nacharam Sub-inspector Narender Reddy said that environmental protection is the responsibility of every citizen. The All India Youth Federation (AIYF) and All India Students Federation (AISF) Medchal District Satya Prasad, Dharmendra jointly distributed clay vinayaka statues at free cost at the Mallapur Siva Hotel on Sunday.
Narender Reddy said that the balance of the environment is being created to protect the environment. Representatives of student and youth organizations, who are offering the public free of charge, congratulated themselves on the good outcome of using the statue of the clay rather than all the colors made with chemical colors. Local Muslim leaders Akbar also distributed the Ganesha statues in religious harmony.
Later, AIYF Medchal district president T. Satya Prasad said, The purpose of the distribution is to create awareness amidst people on the use of clay Ganesh idols with natural colors so as to save the water bodies from pollution due to use of plaster of paris idols with artificial colors. He demanded the liquor shops must close till immersion, The local senior leader Sitaram Reddy, Ecil AISF student Rami Reddy, Rajesh, Parvati and Praveen were present.
